Video Game Animations

I am not an artist at all, I don’t know how to do any sort of animation, drawing, or 3D modeling. But I really really enjoy appreciating art. Sometimes I do wish that I spent some time to learn how to draw, because I think the idea of being able to have a thought of something in your head and then manifesting an image of it, is really cool. I feel like I like too many things too be able to be good at them all sometimes. But there are times, particularly with animation, where sometimes really scratches a certain feeling in my brain. It feels completely random too, there are times where I am watching a beautifully animated Dragon Ball fan animation and I love it so much and I think it’s one of the coolest animations I have ever seen.

Appreciation of that kind of animation is not what I am talking about in this case though. That is something very long (for an animation of that quality). I am talking specifically about little animations that tickle me. Most of these occur in video games because everything has to be animated so even short actions like opening a chest requires some form of animation. Fighting games have a lot of these small animations because every move a player can do requires a small animation to visually represent the hitboxes. With that comes a lot of really good animations, bad animations, funny animations, and some that really tickle my brain.
